Jerome Molleston, MD, PhD

Starting as an undergraduate student at Washington University, Jerome earned a BA in biochemistry/religious studies, summa cum laude. From there he completed an MD and a PhD in cell and molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania and returned back to WUSM where he is currently a member of the Pediatric Physician Scientist Training Program. As a pediatric gastroenterology fellow, Jerome is interested in researching the role of enteric immunity and the gut microbiome in inflammatory bowel disease. His personal hobbies include cooking, playing video games, everything Star Wars, and traveling with his wife.
