Molly Barr , MD
Molly Barr, MD, completed her pediatric residency training at Washington University School of Medicine. Prior to residency, she graduated with a MD from Indiana University School of Medicine and a BS in Public Health from Saint Louis University. Barr's empathy for the children struggling with various diagnosis from constipation to complicated IBD presentations, finding the root of these problems and providing expertise to solve them is what drives her to continue in this field. In her spare time, Barr enjoys listening to podcasts, trying new cuisine and exploring all of the local parks St. Louis has to offer with her family.

Shelley Choudhury, MD
After graduating from Rhodes College with her BS, magna cum laude, Shelley Choudhury, MD, went on to earn her MD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. One of Choudhury's favorite aspects of the field is how frequently it interacts with other disciplines she enjoys learning about — immunology, rheumatology and hematology. Lately, she has found herself drawn to specific GI pathologies with overlap in hematology and oncology. Choudhury's passions extend out of the hospital and range from amateur watercolor painting, to traveling, to frequenting estate sales to get more ideas for home renovation projects.

Tess Coker, MD
Tess Coker, MD, finished her undergraduate studies with dual degrees of BS in Biology and BA in Spanish from the University of Arkansas. After reaching these milestones, she continued her education with a MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. From experiencing the Teaching and Tomorrow Program at NASPGHAN to learning about the complex interplay between gastrointestinal and other organ systems, as well as nutrition and obesity, Coker developed a fascination with the complexity and appreciation for the breadth of gastroenterology. During her spare time, Coker sets a goal for herself to read 50 books per year, restores/refinishes antique and vintage furniture and is a proud dog mom who takes her dog everywhere she can.
Trevor Davis, MD
Trevor Davis, MD completed his pediatric residency training at Washington University School of Medicine. Prior to residency, he graduated with an MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a BS in Human Physiology with University Honors and Highest Distinction from The University of Iowa. Trevor is interested in advanced GI procedures, and has research interests involving functional GI disorders and motility. Trevor is a life-long competitive soccer player, and enjoys exploring new hiking trails with his wife and children.

Jenna Diaz, MD
Jenna Diaz, MD attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO for her undergraduate studies, earning a BS in Biology. She completed her medical training there as well. Her pediatric residency training was in Miami, FL at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. As a Gastroenterology Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis she is interested in nutrition, short bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. In her free time, she enjoys running, spending time with family and traveling.

Laura Duckworth, MD graduated with a BS in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MD from St. Louis University. She then went on to complete her pediatric residency training at Washington University School of Medicine. As Laura stays at WUSM for her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship, she is interested in nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and backpacking, walking her dog, cooking, and traveling.

Jerome Molleston, MD, PhD
Starting as an undergraduate student at Washington University, Jerome earned a BA in biochemistry/religious studies, summa cum laude. From there he completed an MD and a PhD in cell and molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania and returned back to WUSM where he is currently a member of the Pediatric Physician Scientist Training Program. As a pediatric gastroenterology fellow, Jerome is interested in researching the role of enteric immunity and the gut microbiome in inflammatory bowel disease. His personal hobbies include cooking, playing video games, everything Star Wars, and traveling with his wife.

Kimberly Sutton, MD
Kimberly Sutton, MD graduated from the University of Notre Dame, earning a BS in science business. She completed her medical training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and her Pediatric Residency training at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Currently, she is a fellow with the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Her research interests include IBD and endoscopy. She enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband.
Stefani Tica, MD
Stefani Tica, MD completed her pediatric residency training at Washington University School of Medicine. She holds an MD and MPH with a concentration in epidemiology from Indiana University, and a BS in literature with distinction from Duke University. From studying the numerous systemic manifestations of inflammatory bowel disease during her internal medicine clerkship to learning about liver failure in her pathophysiology course, Stefani developed a fascination with the complexity and appreciation for the breadth of Gastroenterology. During the course of her residency, her early interest in GI matured due to experiences caring for children with a variety of enteric and hepatobiliary diseases, opportunities to learn about endoscopy, and involvement in research. In her spare time, Stefani enjoys reading fiction novels, embroidering, baking sourdough bread, watching Duke basketball, and making the perfect cup of coffee.

Daniel Verbaro, MD, PhD
After graduating from Drexel University with a BS in Biological Sciences and Master of Chemistry, summa cum laude, Verbaro went on to earn his MD and PhD from Washington University School of Medicine. Having over ten publications and numerous talks/posters to his name currently, Dan’s continued passion and interest in Pediatric Gastroenterology grows as he continues to focus on the interplay/crosstalk between the gut enteric nervous system and the gut immune system. In his spare time, Dan likes to collect and build Legos with his children, go snowboarding, and new restaurants from the many choices St. Louis has to offer.
