The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis offers two distinct fellowship programs:
- A three-year Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship Program for those who have successfully completed a 36-month pediatric residency program and are interested in pursuing this subspecialty.
- A one-year Pediatric Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Program for those who have successfully completed both a 36-month pediatric residency program and a three-year pediatric gastroenterology fellowship program, and are interested in specializing further in this discipline.
While both of our fellowship programs have significant collaboration and clinical and research commonalities, the first fellowship (or equivalent) is a prerequisite for the second.
